Aegis® Award
Zinzendorf
2001 - Documentary
The Aegis Awards, based in Rhode Island, are held twice each year for video and film productions created in the US and Canada. Judging is based on a formula that grades the various elements of the production (such as shooting, editing, use of music, etc.) and then calculates a composite score based on an average of all the judges' opinions. Judges are television and video producers who have previously won the Aegis and other industry awards. Only 170 programs were selected nationwide out of several thousand.
Previous Aegis winners include Cox Television, Clearwater Films, Connecticut Public Television, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Media One, Mercedes-Benz US, Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation, Turner Classic Movies, and WPIX-TV, New York.
